Artist's Description
A bold and expressively painted landscape of Llyn Maelog, Anglesey, North Wales, UK. This painting is one of a series celebrating my return to Wales and exhibiting over there. The series is a 'Sense of Belonging'. As a lover of Ray Bradburys' books earlier in my life, the title is a little spin on one of his. Something colourful this way comes. Credit given to Philip Taylor for kindly allowing his fantastic photograph of amazing clouds over the lake - llyn to be used for inspiration by myself. Acrylics on deep edged canvas.

Award winning artist - "Colour is pivotal to my life and the very essence of my being." "COLOUR IN A PICTURE IS LIKE ENTHUSIASM IN LIFE" ~ Vincent Van Gogh, 1853-1890 As a former performing arts teacher expressiveness was of paramount importance both in dance and drama. I instilled in students that need to be larger than life when performing. This is now true of my art. My paintings are bold, expressive & vibrant acrylics full of movement. In 2018 I won the Peoples Choice Award at The Wellington Regional Arts Review for the dog n donut works. I have exhibited extensively in New Zealand and Canada.
